Lapin Curiosities reopens and introduces LAPINcontemporary.

The whimsical store, at the beautiful Norad Mill, has added a destination for the arts in the Berkshires.

North Adams, MA – Lapin Curiosities, a creative space exhibiting unique and whimsical collections of art, crafts, jewelry and more, is excited to announce the reopening of its store and a new spacious gallery.  The store and gallery are located at the beautiful Norad Mill, 60 Roberts Drive, now at studio 308, in North Adams, MA 01247.

Lapin Curiosities is in the beginning of its journey, with a vision of a creative space to exhibit artists and artisans with eye-opening perspectives creating impressive and interactive moments for visiting customers, and to curate a unique and whimsical collection of handmade products, unique designs, jewelry, art supplies, and beyond.

The new gallery, LAPINcontemporary, will exhibit new works throughout the year with the intention to promote artists, and to provide another cultural venue for the community and for visitors travelling on the path between The Clark Institute and Mass MoCA.

The gallery’s first show is exhibiting works by American artist Douglas Gilbert, from March 21 to April 28, 2024.  The exhibit, Douglas Gilbert: Into Spring, presents landscapes, animals and flora depicting the inspiration of the Berkshires as we leap from our long winter into spring.  In this collection of drawings, the artist presents an abstract and figurative approach within his unique and vibrant style.
